What to Expect
Harrison lessons usually happen at Veterans Memorial Park or on the quiet residential streets near Purchase—Leon scouts the surface ahead of time so the spot matches what you’re working on. If you’re brand new, he covers the fundamentals: which foot goes where, how to stand without wobbling, how to push off and stop. Returning students move straight into whatever they’re building toward.

Flat-soled sneakers and comfortable clothes are the only gear you need. Helmets are required for students under 18.
