Fairfield Skatepark
The main lesson location in Fairfield. The skatepark has a solid layout for working on fundamentals and progressing into park features. Leon starts beginners on flat sections for balance, pushing, and turning, then introduces ramps and obstacles as students are ready.
Jennings Beach Area
Paved areas and open ground near the beach. A good alternative for students who want room to ride, carve, and build confidence on flat terrain before heading to the skatepark. The beach parking area works well on quieter days.
Your Driveway or Neighborhood
If you have a flat, smooth driveway or a quiet stretch of sidewalk, Leon can come to you. Some students, especially younger kids, are more comfortable starting at home before moving to the park.
What to Expect
Fairfield has good range — a skatepark for students who are progressing, and the Jennings Beach parking area for beginners who need flat, open ground. Leon comes to you and meets you wherever you’re most comfortable, whether that’s a park, a driveway, or a beach lot. The first few minutes of every session are about figuring out your level and setting a direction. Never been on a board? You’ll work on stance, balance, and rolling. Already skating? Leon will push you past wherever you’re stuck.
Each lesson runs about an hour. Own board is preferred, but Leon brings one if you need it. Wear flat-soled skate shoes — not running shoes — and clothes that let you bend and move. Helmets are required for students under 18. The pre-lesson guide is helpful if you’ve never booked before. Fairfield is part of Leon’s regular Connecticut territory.
