What to Expect
Westchester and Connecticut lessons follow the same student-first approach Leon uses everywhere. He starts by understanding your goals (or your child’s goals) and builds a plan from there. No rigid curriculum. No pressure to keep up with a group. Just one-on-one coaching designed around the individual.
For kids, Leon focuses on building confidence through small wins: standing on the board, taking a first push, learning to stop and turn. He keeps things fun and encouraging so students stay motivated and excited to come back. For adults, the approach is the same: patient, methodical, and entirely judgment-free.
Lessons are typically one hour. Leon can provide a board if needed. Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothes. Helmets are required for all students under 18 and strongly recommended for everyone.
