Partnerships & Collaborations

Work with Leon.

33 years on a board. 20+ years teaching. Youth programs, community events, and a presence across NYC and Westchester. If your brand belongs in skate culture, there’s a way to work together.

Not just a rider.

Leon Toppin is a skater, instructor, and community builder based in New York City. He teaches private and group lessons across all five boroughs and Westchester County, runs youth programs for schools and rec centers, and organizes community skate events.

He’s been featured on HBO’s Betty, in Hypebeast’s Vans Full Cab video with Steve Caballero, and is a sponsored rider for Commit Skateboards. His upcoming film credit is The Man with the Bag, releasing December 2026.

Every board, wheel, and pair of shoes Leon rides gets seen by his students, their parents, and the communities he works in. That’s a different kind of visibility than a clip on Instagram.

What a partnership looks like

Product in the field

Leon rides your product daily — in lessons, at events, and at parks across NYC and Westchester. Every session puts your brand in front of students and parents who are buying their first setup.

Youth programs

Leon runs skateboard programs for schools, rec centers, and summer camps. Branded gear in youth programming connects your brand to the next generation of skaters at the moment they're choosing what to ride.

Events and activations

Community skate events, demo days, brand activations. Leon has the audience, the space relationships, and the teaching ability to run events that are more than a logo on a banner.

Content

Teaching clips, skate footage, event coverage. Leon's content is authentic because the teaching and community work is real — it's not manufactured for a feed.

Film and media

Leon has appeared on HBO's Betty, in Hypebeast's Vans Full Cab video, and in the upcoming film The Man with the Bag. Product placement in professional media is part of the package.

Where the reach is

Leon’s audience isn’t measured in followers. It’s measured in the people he’s in front of every week: students, their parents, event attendees, and the communities around every park he works at across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island, Westchester County, and parts of Connecticut and Hoboken, NJ.

His Instagram (@roboticpumpkin) is a community account, not an influencer account. The engagement rate runs above 5%, which is well above industry average for accounts his size. The comments are from real skaters and students, not bots. But the real value isn’t the feed — it’s that every product Leon uses gets seen and handled by students and parents who are actively buying gear.
